What's New @ SortLogic SYSTEMS - New Features Added in SortLogic® Simulator v6.1
The v6.1 SortLogic® Simulator product represents a substantial improvement in performance and functionality over previous versions. Here's what's new:
“Operator-less” Mode – This mode is suitable for use with 3rd party Windows Service Wrappers such as FireDaemon or SrvAny
High Volume Enhancements – Changes to the base architecture gives the v6.1 SortLogic® Simulator the ability to robustly handle large volumes of back to back files.
TCP/IP interface – Provides automatic resource pooling.
Throughput based configuration - For load balancing and pricing.
Speed Pooling – When a 10,000 DPM (or higher) throughput license is purchased a speed pooling option can also be purchased that allows the creation of multiple threads and distribution of the through-put across them. For instance, during one part of the day one instance could be at 10,000 DPM for high volume input validation, and the other part of the day 10 instances could be run at 1,000 DPM each for reject repair.
Landing Zone Support - In addition to the TCP/IP connection based operation, version 6.1 of the SortLogic® Simulator now supports connectionless operation for use in virtual capture environments.
File Based Problem Report Initiation - For service environments, a Problem Report will be created when a text (.pr) file is dropped in the inbound landing zone.
